Privacy statement
Nijdam Rental is a website of Schreuders Sport International B.V. (SSI), based at Plesmanstraat 4, 4143 HL Leerdam, the Netherlands. SSI is responsible for the personal data we process through this website and in our contact with you.
If you have a question about your data, use the contact form on the Schreuders Sport International website or write to us at the address above.
What data do we process?
When you send an enquiry through the website, we process your name, organisation, country, email address, and the subject and content of your enquiry. You also tell us what kind of rink or project you have. You can additionally give your telephone number, the size of your hire fleet and your timeline.
We also record when an enquiry was sent, the page it came from and the language used. If you came from a product page, the product code may be included. To protect the form, we process your IP address and the outcome of an automated spam check.
If you email us directly, we process your email address and the information in your message. Our sales team may record details about your organisation, enquiry and project in SSI’s ERP system, including notes needed to follow up your enquiry.
Why do we use this data?
We use your data to answer your question, discuss availability, provide advice or a quotation, and keep in touch about your project. Our legitimate interest is to handle business enquiries and maintain contact with potential customers. If you personally become a party to an agreement with SSI, taking necessary steps at your request before entering into that agreement may also provide a legal basis.
We use technical data to protect the website and form and to prevent misuse. Our legitimate interest is to protect the website and prevent automated submissions. We process information that we must retain for our records under a legal obligation.
Sending an enquiry does not automatically subscribe you to general product newsletters or offers. We send those messages only if you have previously consented or if the rules for communications to existing customers allow it. You can unsubscribe from those messages.
The form shows which details are required. Without them, we cannot receive your enquiry through the form. You can also call or email us directly.
Who do we share your data with?
Staff handling your enquiry can access the details they need for that purpose. We use Cloudflare for the website and checks for automated submissions. We use Microsoft services for storage and email. SSI has data processing agreements with these parties. We do not sell your personal data.
If these services process data outside the European Economic Area, we use the safeguards agreed for that processing. You can ask for more information through SSI’s contact form.
How long do we keep your data?
If your enquiry does not lead to an order, we keep the enquiry, related emails and prospect details recorded in the ERP system for up to 24 months after the last substantive contact. We delete the IP address associated with a valid enquiry after 90 days.
For a rejected form submission, we retain the reason for rejection and technical data, including the IP address, for 12 months so we can recognise repeated misuse. We do not retain the name, email address, organisation, telephone number or free-text content of a rejected submission in our enquiry records.
If your organisation becomes a customer, SSI’s existing customer retention policy applies to the data needed for that relationship. Statutory retention periods apply to invoices and other tax records. We generally keep invoices for 7 years.
Visiting the website
When you visit the website, Cloudflare processes technical data to deliver pages and protect the site. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many visits the site receives and which pages are viewed. This service does not use cookies to track visitors. When you submit the contact form, Cloudflare Turnstile checks whether the submission appears to be automated. Turnstile does not read the contents of your form.
Your rights
You can ask SSI what personal data we hold about you and have inaccurate data corrected. Where privacy law permits, you can also ask us to delete data, restrict its use or transfer it. You can object to processing based on legitimate interest.
Use SSI’s contact form to make a request. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we provide or change data.
If you have a complaint about how we handle your data, please contact us. You can also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
We update this statement when the website or our processing of data changes. This version is dated 3 October 2026.
